Sometimes the clickbait draws me in

Prince Harry’s New Girlfriend Says She ‘Fights’ to Wear Loose Tops Onscreen

I admit it… I clicked the link. I made myself vulnerable. I feel so violated.

I have this theory see, that Prince Harry is secretly the Billy Carter of the royal family. I keep thinking he’s going to get jealous of all the attention his brother and brother’s bride are getting and come up with a way to draw it all to himself. It hasn’t happened yet, and it probably never will. He’s actually a pretty cool cat.

But there his name was, put in a potentially scandalous context, hooking up with an American chick, like his predecessor Prince Edward. Is he going to abdicate for American hoochie? The article title said his gf FIGHTS to wear loose tops. This Jezebel has really got her hooks in him. Those sneaky clickbastards.

So, I read the article, and learned yet again implications made by the clickbait never live up to their salacious potential. She’s not really some floozy of loose morals. She’s actually one of them high-maintenance actresses who has creative differences with the wardrobe department on her show.

Great Og on a Stick, what a letdown. Harry, what have you got yourself into? What have I gotten myself into? Stupid clickbait drama.

I fell for your clickbaity thread topic. What a let down indeed

I follow George Takei on facebook. He used to post a lot of interesting original content. Now he seems to post mostly click bait that I’m sure he’s getting paid for. But sometimes I still click.

Abandoned Ghost Ship! You won’t believe what was found inside!

Yeah, I probably will.

One of these days I’m going to learn to not fall for: “You won’t believe what they look like now!” nonsense.

For a while (it’s been getting better) a lot of the IFL Science posts on facebook were pretty click bait-y. To the point that for a few months I would just read a few of the comments before clicking on the article just to not waste my time and to give her one less page view. When you see a post that said "He poured molten hot nickel on a [something] and the results are unbelievable’, no it’s not unbelievable if the results are that the thing you poured it on burned or melted. duh.

Even now she turned all her articles into multiple pages, added a metric ton of ads into the mobile version and far to much of the content has nothing to do with science.

Publishing Clickbait with an unrelated thumbnail should be a capitol offense.

You won’t believe how gorgeous Honey Boo Boo’s mom is now.

There’s clickbait. And then there are Mind Blowing Photos That Almost Broke The Internet. A world of difference, I can assure you.
