I know, I know “Shodan, shut up already about it. Have you no shame?.” Not just yet. 
Purchase the latest copy of Sports Illustrated. Open it to page 76. Who might be that enormous, smiling picture of that enormous, smiling person rated the #1 Big Man on Campus by that magazine?
If you ask me, it would be none other than Joe Thomas, All-American offensive tackle from my alma mater, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my little sister’s biggest kid. Did I mention he is on the dean’s list? Did I mention he is dating a drop-dead gorgeous blonde (who is also a very nice young lady)? Did I mention that his name is bandied about coupled with phrases like “probable first or second round draft choice”?
Well, if I failed to mention those things, my father and brother-in-law will be sure to bring it up. Joe’s knee seems to be almost completely recovered (he tore an ACL in the first half of last year’s post-season game), so he won’t miss a down.
