Here is the refrain, or at least as much as I can remember.

That’s all I can remember. It was just a guy singing over an acoustic guitar, and it was on one of those stations that plays classic and modern rock, so I have no idea if it’s new or really old. Any help would be appreciated.

That would be “Simple Kind of Man” by Lynnard Skynnard. One of my faves.

A band called Shine Down recently did a cover of it recently.
Its just the singer and his guitar during that version.
