1). Roger Waters—Sexual Revolution (4:41 am)
8). Suzy Boggus—Aces
Ludovic, you have the correct band, and IIRC the correct album, but not the song the judges were looking for.
Caira_Rand, you have the correct title, but the artist is incorrect. Try again.
Still in play from the initial list are:
3) Go there now, but I hear they sung
Their fck me and marry me young
Some wild idea and a big white bed, now
*-- Sisters of Mercy
Gives a special interpretation to the grand old hymn “The Old Rugged Cross”
Chill bumps appear and I am frozen in the web they weave as they reveal their
Innermost selves with the outpouring of their hearts
Look around you
All around you
Can’t you hear them?
Cries of the innocent
*And I don't know where I'm going.
I just want to be left alone.
Well, when this train ends I’ll try again,
But I’m leaving my woman at home*
11)* Beginning to think that I’m wasting time
I don’t understand the things I do
The world outside looks so unkind
Now I’m counting on you
To carry me through*–Drift Away, name the artist
However, it occurs to me, if more than one artist had a hit with a particular song… maybe we should count that as correct?

Agreed, and I would have ruled correct for Uncle Cracker for this one. I also would have accepted Whitney Houston for #15. But the artist must have made the song popular in some way. The initial answer was for 11 was Steppenwolf, and they may have covered the Dobie Gray classic, but to my knowledge, never made a hit out of it.
