Songs about "statutory rape" or underage love?

I always got the impression that George Michael’s Father Figure was more or less pedophilic.

I can’t think of one right now off the top of my head, but if Alice Cooper sang less than five of them I would be suprised.

In and Out of Love by Bon Jovi

Hot Child In The City, by Nick Gilder

“Hot for Teacher” by Van Halen would somehow qualify I suppose. In some way.

“She was too young to fall in love and I was too young to know” by John B. Sebastian. Icky and sappy at the same time, an achievement of sorts.

Ted Nugent’s Jailbait (I don’t care if you’re just thirteen …)
Spinal Tap’s Tonight I’m Gonna Rock You Tonight (You’re sweet, but you’re just four feet/and you still got your baby teeth/You’re too young, and I’m too well hung, but tonight I’m gonna rock ya …)
Manowar’s Fast Taker (Only sixteen - a woman not a girl/old enough for a trip around the world …)

Not in English, but “Criminel” by Garou.

Mais méfiez-vous de la femme-enfant
Méfiez-vous de ses quatorze ans
À cause d’elle
On m’appelle criminel

(crap me-translation: But don’t trust the woman-child/don’t trust her fourteen years/because of her/they call me “criminal”)

The Infant Kiss, by Kate Bush

“Danger”, by Steve Goodman.

“Danger, this is about a 14 year old girl and her 19 year old boyfriend.”

Lets Go by the Cars.

This is another one that’s cool because our narrator respects the girl’s boundaries.

…And she won’t give up 'cause she’s seventeen…

…And when I ask her before, she said she’s holding out
She’s a frozen fire
She’s my one desire
And I don’t want to hold her down
Don’t want to break her crown
When she says, let’s go…

It’s Money That I love by Randy Newman

They say that’s money
Can’t buy love in this world
But it’ll get you a half-pound of cocaine
And a sixteen-year old girl
And a great big long limousine
On a hot September night
Now that may not be love
But it is all right

“Brown Shoes Don’t Make It”, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention ("…she’s only 13 but she knows how to nasty")

“Good Morning Little Schoolgirl”, performed by everyone

Bow Wow Wow had the song “Louis Quatorze” in which lead singer Annabella Lwin (who actually was about that age) sang about being fourteen years old when Louis made love to her.

Also “Cross-Eyed Mary,” by Jethro Tull.

How about “Tenderness on the Block” by Warren Zevon?

“How Many More Times” by Led Zeppelin.
Maybe “Little Lover” by AC/DC.

Oh! I forgot Edge of the World by Faith No More:

“It’s not the point that I’m 40 years older”

I suppose you could make a case for Janie’s Got a Gun by Aerosmith:

“He jacked a little-bitty baby”

Also, Stacey’s Mom by Fountains of Wayne. Sorta.

Cite?! I don’t think so! :dubious:

Travis, U16 Girls:

… but when I called her number
her mother’s on the line sayin’
you’ve no business
as God’s my witness
with a child as young as mine…

Seconded !
