Remember this commercial? Not sure if that counts as an actual song, though.
The Lone Rhinoceros - Adrian Belew
I’m a lone rhinoceros
There ain’t one hell of a lot of us
Left in this world…
This totally fucking rocks! Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
No joke; I once heard a duck quacking out the first five notes of “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies”.
I can’t believe no one’s mentioned “House of the Rising Sun”. Seriously, how about chickens doing “In the Mood”.
Tennessee Bird Walk?
Opposites Attract, by Paula Abdul and MC Scat Cat
Flanders and Swan had several songs about animals. The chorus of "The Gnu Song" is sung by the title animal.
Does Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep count?

[/QUOTE]Actually… When I made the first post I wrote that House of the Rising Sun didn’t count. But, then realized that some people wouldn’t get it and changed it to Adam Ant before I posted it.
And, I already mentioned In the Mood in an earlier post, but that is good enough for a second mention. And even a third mention.
This is from Carol Burnett.
What about “Muskrat Love”? They aren’t the main singers but it does have some muskrats-gettin’-busy stuff at the end.
If we’re going there, has anyone mentioned “Been Caught Stealing,” by Jane’s Addiction? Annie, a dog, provides rhythmic and (IMHO) melodic touches through important parts of the song:
How about the Cow Cow Boogie?
How could I forget this one? On Judy Collins a cappella Farewell to Tarwathie, a chorus of humpback whales provides the backing vocals.
