Methinks Strainger is in for a looooong weekend.
Oh, and Love over Gold, by Dire Straits. Just program out that annoying “Industrial Disease.”

Once, I did it to the double CD of The Moody Blues greatest hits twice in a row! Now, that’s all I need to hear to get me in the mood.

Sometimes life is so great you just gotta muss up your hair and quack like a duck!
Well gee EddieTheDane, sorry but some of us like soul music. Some of your selections make my skin crawl :).
Anyway, some of my picks are from Janet Jackson. Most of you probably hate her but i love miss Janet :).

I love that song, Opal. Haven’t heard it in years, though. The video cracks me up.
Seal’s entire 1994 self-titled album (it has “Kiss From a Rose,” “Prayer for the Dying,” Don’t Cry," etc). So far that’s our favorite.
Fiona Apple’s “Sleep to Dream,” “Shadowboxer,” and “Criminal.”
George Michael’s Listen Without Prejudice album, esp. “Freedom,” “They Won’t Go Where I Go,” and “Praying for Time.” Oh, hush. Gay and playing in the bathroom or not, GM’s a right sexy bastard!
Meanwhile, I should be taking notes here!
“Me fail English? That’s unpossible!”
“English? Who needs that? I’m never going to England.”
“Bitches Brew”, from the similarly named album by Miles Davis. A killer groove, and 25 minutes long! (And the remastered CDs sound great.)
Got to agree on Marvin Gaye–you have to use that stuff carefully.
Dr. J
I sometimes think of that old song that goes “Stayin’Alive.” For some reason, the beat fits the timing.
Some of mine…
Most of BT’s ESCM…kinda got that Enigma sound going…but with a better beat
Sublime…just diggin’ that sound, man.
“Freaks of the Industry” by Digital Underground…and I somehow suspect “The Humpty Dance” would be kinda fun too lmao
I gotta a reggae mix CD here too…it’s got Shaggy, Inner Circle, Shabba Ranks…very nice.
oh yeah…and “Hotel California”.
Sassy: Jessica, definitely!
I love soul music, but for lovemaking I don’t want anything with vocals. Personal quirk: too much like “doing it” with somebody else in the room. Jazz, rock, R&B, New Age, anything as long as it’s instrumental. Personal favorite: Ravi Shankar. Good tempo, exciting but mellow, very trippy!
I LOVE THAT GEORGE MICHEAL CD!!!
Listen Without Predjidice(?)
Anyway…Metallica is the best to shag by…mmm, or maybe GreenDay.(Spicegirls have a good beat too :))
For cuddlin’ romancin’ etc, old Randy Travis will do it everytime, or the Eagles.
Oh God!! that song by Lita Ford and Ozzy…cant recall the name.
That “If I close my eyes forever” song? I like that one, but of course I never hear it anymore.
Let me add “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak. I heard that one in the car yesterday, and had I been with a member of the opposite sex, I don’t think I would have been responsible for my actions…
I can’t believe you lovers of soul music haven’t mentioned either of Maxwell’s albums!!! Geez, talk about warm and fluid…
The first song on his Embrya album is called “Lay All Night (Here On Top)”.
Depending on the mood I’m in, it’ll either be that mentioned above or any of Van Halen’s early albums.
There was a song in the early 70s, whose title I think was "How He/She Makes Me Quiver (!!)which is so suggestive the DJ, Geoff Edwrads on KMPC in Los Angeles, commented about it.
Dr. Demento plays a suggestive song, around Valentine’s Day, from the French–“Je t’aime, moi non plus,” Which means, I think “I love you more than I could love anything else.”
The performers are Jane Burken and Serge Gainsebourg. It really sounds like they ARE humping near the end!
I managed to get Biblical with a striper whilest she played the debut disc from jazzy rappers US3, and thusly to this day I cannot help but get aroused listening to that band.

I make my own cassettes with just such songs. Included on some are:
“Take my Breath Away” Berlin
“Father Figure” by George Michael
“Beth” by Kiss (don’t hold it against me)
“Sometimes Love just Ain’t Enough” Patty Smythe/Don Henley
“Uninvited” Alanis Morrissette
“Iris” GooGoo Dolls
I had an ex-boyfriend in my first year of college that referred to Van Morrison CDs as “baby-makin’ music”… I found that exceptionally disturbing. Still do, actually. My only requirement for music during…ah…“the deed” is that it NOT be Van Morrison.
Oh, yeah! Chris Issak is dead sexy, and you know what? I don’t even have any of his CD’s.
