Songs whose lyrics consist of jargon

Examples:

“Freeze Frame” (J. Geils Band) has a lot of photographic jargon.

“Everyday I Write the Book” (Elvis Costello & The Attractions) has a lot of novel & script writing phrases.

There’s quite a bit of baseball jargon (with sexual double-entendres) in Jim Steinman’s Paradise by the Dashboard Light, popularized by Meat Loaf.

Valley Girl?

OK, not jargon, fine, be that way.

That’s slang. Slang is social; jargon is vocational or avocational.

I’ll nominate the 1970s truck drivin’ patter country song “Convoy” by C.W. McCall.

“All About the Pentiums” by Weird Al.
