So today I decided to play only songs with Woman in the title. So far I have off the top of my head:
- Sweet Talking Woman
- Jet City Woman
- Pretty Woman
- Evil Woman
- Long Cool Woman (in a Black Dress)
- I am Woman
- I’m Every Woman
- Black Magic Woman
- American Woman
There must be more considering that a large segment of songs written are about women. And I clearly am not thinking of Country or Hip Songs, of which there must be many or even non-English language songs. If fact I guess we could includes songs with women in the title as well.
And no googling! Just ones that come to mind.
Girl, You’ll be A Woman Soon.
Woman - John Lennon
Sweet City Woman - Ozark Mountain Daredevils(?)
Man! I Feel Like A Woman . -Shania Twain.
Not the only Lennon song with Woman in the title
Rainy day women 12 / 35 - Dylan
She’s a woman - Beatles
I got a woman - ray charles
One Hell of a Woman - Mac Davis
Bob Dylan - Just Like A Woman

Elderly woman behind a counter… Pearl Jam

Have you ever loved a woman - Derek and dominoes
Woman, Woman. - Gary Puckett & The Union Gap
How did I miss When a Man Loves a Woman. It must be Michael Bolton blockage!
This isn’t the same song Bryan Adams(?) sang in “Don Juan DeMarco”(?), is it?
Not familiar with that version but I understand it is something of a standard
I may have the title wrong (and possibly the artist) but I wanted to stay pure to the OP.
No, it’s a blues standard first recorded by Freddie King.
^ I got to tell you, Poker’s his thing!
I’ll be honest with you, I am a Michael Bolton fan. For my money, I don’t know if it gets any better than when he sings “when a man loves a woman”
My Woman, My Woman, My Wife - (Dean Martin cover)
Devil Woman - Cliff Richard
Always A Woman - Billy Joel
“Witchy Woman,” of course. By the Eagles.
