Songs you like by bands you otherwise hate

I wouldn’t say I hate them, but I’ve never cared much for Blues Traveler. However, I do love “But Anyway.”

I give her credit for picking the cover (don’t think that would be an industry pick), but the performance didn’t do much for me.

I like “Rolling in the Deep” though.

Make it five. I don’t like most of their stuff, but “Savin’ Me” blows me away.

Too late to edit - the video of “Savin’ Me” is super cool — you can watch it without the sound, and it’s like a short episode of Twilight Zone. In fact, it was pretty much completely ripped off by an episode of “Medium.”

Same here, except it’s “My Own Prison”.

Madonna “La Isla Bonita”
Michael Jackson “Billie Jean”
Uriah Heep “Come Away Melinda”

I can’t stand the Doobie Brothers, except for “What A Fool Believes”- a perfect pop single that really floats my boat.

I also can’t stand Springsteen, I just don’t “get” him. Except: I love “Hungry Heart.”

Al Kooper has never interested me in the least, except for his fairly recent version of “This Diamond Ring” (which he wrote, btw).

.

Yep…

you aint lying, thats pretty cool! with the sound muted, of course

I actually liked that whole album when it first came out. I’m not sure how it would hold up to replay, though.

My contribution is, indeed, Nickelback. ‘‘How You Remind Me.’’

And Smashing Pumpkins. ‘‘Disarm.’’
