Soonest Obama's Healthcare Plan Would Be Implemented

I was wondering supposing that Mr Obama’s health care initiative passed by August 31, 2009. What would be the soonest that uninsured people in the USA would be covered?

I’ve tried Googling this and I found a lot of different answers most range from 2012 to 2021.

I was wondering if there was any “real” for lack of a better word, answer to this?

I put this in General Questions, because I was looking for somewhat of a factual answer. Whether or not you agree, I was just wondering if what Mr Obama wants did get passed through the Senate and House and was signed into law by him by August 31, 2009 (Let’s assume this is do-able whether or not it really is), what would be the soonest uninsured Americans could expects some sort of coverage?

There is no way to know at this point. We are simply too early in the legislative process to know if a bill will be passed or when coverage would become available.

It is probable that the time to set up a health care administration, allow enrollments, and activate coverages would take some period of years. Medicare Part D was signed into law in December 2003, enrollment began in November 2005, and coverage began in January 2006.
