Tori Amos bridging the gap between “Heavy Metal” and “Girl Power” ? Sounds strange but its true ! For those who dont know much about Slayer, they have been misunderstood for quite some time. The band is (was) considered one of the major players in the Thrash Metal scene of the 80s and although albums are far and few between since then, their devoted fans will be clamoring for the new album God Hates Us All in early September. I guess Ms. Amos and the Slayer guys have more than a few things in common. I gotta give the girl credit for her song selection thats for sure !
