Wow, 45 years since this great film was made. It’s by far my favorite movie soundtrack. I play the soundtrack several times a year. I’ve seen the movie at least 20 times in the past 30 years. I regret never seeing it on a big screen in a real movie theater. I was just an infant when it premiered.

Oprah is reuniting most of the cast tomorrow (Thurs, Oct 28). I’m not particularly an Oprah watcher. But, I’ll make an exception for this. I really want to see the child actors all grown up.

Angela Cartwright is probably the most successful of the children. She’s known for Lost in Space.

Nicholas Hammond, who played Friedrich, lives in Australia, so he has a long way to go for the reunion.

Maybe Oprah can get a satellite link for guests that can’t make the trip?

I hope they can get as much of the cast as possible.
