Absolutely!
Some of the things they call science are just as nonsensical.
It really depends on your belief system.
P.S. I don’t believe anything I can’t experience.

Many good point, WRENCHEAD! Beneficial evolutionist story much loved by scientist!
Daniel
Certainly. Because us evilutionists wake up each morning and think up new ways to perpetuate the horror of the conecpt natural selection.
 on you.
Besides, there is no way Hell is 9 miles under the Earth in Siberia.
Everyone knows it’s in Texas. It’s called Houston.
Oh, please. Have you no knowledge of how scientific theories are developed? It may be fun and comforting to think of scientists engaged in an evil conspiracy to decieve the people, but it has no basis in reality.

Only if you are insuffeciently educated, or chose to ignore the findings.

This has to be one of the saddest statements I have ever read.
It was popular then. Brunvand debunked it in one of his books (which was how things got debunked before snopes)
About 6 or 7 years ago Art Bell recycled it when some cheesey fan pasted together some rollercoaster and horror movie scream and sent them in as the actual recording from “the Well to Hell”.
His “serious warning” about such a cheesy clip is quite laughable. (Warning link is a sound clip)
Many audio experts recognized parts of sounds that were tossed in there.
Oh my God – Wilhelm’s in Hell!
So…you don’t believe we went to the moon? You don’t believe there were dinosaurs?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Experience is important in life, but in science, evidence is everything, and this story is just an urban legend. No truth to it at all.
Once again, Here is the snopes story on this one. You might try reading it Lekatt. Reading is, after all, an experience.
You’re a male, right?
I guess you don’t believe in menstruation or childbirth.
I’m kind of curious to hear examples of things scientists believe that are as nonsensical as the Well to Hell.
FYI, that was the funniest thing I heard/read all week, Daniel.
All the churches? Every single one has spoken on both of those issues?
Interesting, 'cuz I don’t know a single one that has actually endorsed those viewpoints.
Okay… Wrenchead? Lekat? You’re wrong. As evidence of this, I will point to the various hoaxes some individuals set up about certain pre-homo-sapien ancestors (Piltdown man was one, wasn’t it? Can’t remember the names right now) which were soundly refuted by the vast majority of evolutionary scientists. Your proposal here is unsupported by fact, and in fact, clashes rather strongly with them.
Though, I doubt you much care about the facts…
If I go to hell, I want Vera Lynn to cue my entrance with “We’ll Meet Again” right about…there.
I first heard that clip on that art bell show. is this show all bullshit?
doh! sorry bout the swear word. tried to fix that but i cant erase it now. damn! oh sorry again.
I’m sorry, it’s too late.
You’re definitely going to hell now.
I wouldn’t like to invoke a ‘poison well’ fallacy, but I would recommend seeking corroboration of any amazing facts you hear on it.
