I’ve posted about it here , here , and here , but it has finally arrived–South by Southwest is this week! The Film and Interactive festivals are going on right now, and the Music fest starts on Wednesday. (I will be hitting town on Tuesday.)
The schedule of bands is completely overwhelming, and that is just the evening showcases. Between the conference itself and its impressive lineup of interviews (Neil Young, the Beastie Boys, Morrissey, Ray Davies, The Pretenders, and on and on) and the seemingly endless list of day parties, it’s hard to know where to start.
Any other Dopers making it this year? Any tips from Austin locals or SXSW veterans? Any shows not to miss?
