South Park 12/10

I believe MyFootsZZZ is correct, a proper camel toe does require central cleavage.

This may be the most insipid discussion I have ever been a part of, and that’s saying something. Thanks, guys!

It was one of the best ones in a while. The ending sealed it for me…classic.

There’s one scene that’s driving me crazy one day later. You know the part where Stan was holding the boom box over his head playing “Shock the Monkey”? What movie was that from? It had to be from a movie because I know I’ve seen that before.

It featured in “Project X” with Mathew Broderick, but I think it was a hit before the movie.

I love Butters!! He needs more face time on this show.

I thought the “Raisins” episode was genius

It was from the Movie ‘Say Anything…’ with John Cusack. Cusack’s song of choice was “In Your Eyes” by Peter Gabriel. Bebbe(SP?) said he should do what he did, (playing a Peter Gabriel song… just not a good one).

Look at the picture:

It was from Say Anything. Just to verify, since somebody else names the wrong movie. It was so from Say Anything, and not from the Matthew Broderick movie. They even give Stan the same outfit for that scene…

As far as teen romances go, Say Anything is a surprisingly good one.

I thought this show was hilarious, one of the better ones done in awhile.

I really didn't notice anything disturbing about the Raisins girls and certainly did not notice any camel toes in the show.

They all had car names, which was kind of funny, but they didn’t look exceptionally old or well developed.

Spazcat, if you're asking where the scene with Stan playing Peter Gabriel is from, its John Cusack in Say Anything. He plays "In your eyes" for his ex-girlfriend to try and win her back. Thats probably the most famous scene John Cusack has ever done. That made women (OK, teen girls) swoon for him in the 80's. Ironically, he thought it was one of the most stupid scenes in the movie and really didn't want to do it. I don't remember where I heard that....maybe VH1's I love the 80s ??

I’m really surprised noone here mentioned the Peanuts references. Stan standing on the bridge was holding his head with his arms just like a Peanuts character. Then he laid in bed just like Charlie Brown. I think the sitting on the curb scene was peanuts too.

The California Raisens have cameltoes?

Disturbing

That’s what I get for not watching the show first.

funny story, I got involved in Student Government chaseing after one of those. Yeah it worked about as well as could be expected :smack:

I’m confused. Was it from Say Anything with John Cusack? :stuck_out_tongue:

There’s also a brief scene where some nameless classmates are walking toward their lockers, and two of ‘em were the spittin’ image of Pig Pen and Linus.

Hey, I SWEAR those other posts about Say Anything were not up there when I wrote my response.

Do’h! I thought he was asking about the song, not the scene. I stand corrected.

Did anyone else notice that one of the goth kids was Rosie O’Donnell’s little nephew?

That’s all. Carry on with Raisin camel-toe discussion.

The latest reason why Butters is fuckin awsome:

“I’d rather be a cryin pussy than a faggy goth kid.”

Oh yeah, Butters’ parents are awsome too (I love the episode where the Mom tries to kill Butters) and was glad to see more of them tonite with their little bet over Butters. Heheh.
