South Park: 3/14

I thought this was a hilarious episode and a great job of sending up the whole “Reparative Therapy” thing. The constant suicides were really dark but hysterically funny.

I pretty much laughed at everything in the episode. Everything with Cartman especially. My favorite part was the partial picture we saw from Cartman’s slide show with the top of Cartman’s head, the thumbs up and Butters’ passed out face.

I give the epsode an A. Classic, vintage South Park.

Nothing really shows the immorality of the Iraq War like the image of a little boy’s penis in the mouth of another little boy.

“I can’t believe we still have our troops there. It’s wrooong. it’s wroooooong.”

One of the better South Park episodes, in my opinion. The suicides were depressing, but all I could think was “Sad because it’s f—ing true.” I thought Bradley (Butters’ accountabilibuddy) was a great character, and it made me really happy that he didn’t die. I really wasn’t expecting him to make it to the end of the episode.

That was gold. I love how butters championed a message that we hasn’t even aware he was making.

Any Butters episode is cool.

Isn’t Butters’ dad a closeted gay man?

Well, he called himself “bicurious”, too. But yeah, while watching this I thought about Butters’ dad sneaking off to see gay porn a few seasons ago.

I liked the scene with the boys playing cards oh so nonchalantly.

Not to mention his membership at the White Swallow Gym.

Where Butters, PI, noted that he wrestled with another naked guy.

Butters’ introduction to Ryan, his first accountabilibuddy, made us have to stop the DVR until we could quit laughing. Then we realized how quickly we’re going to hell and laughed even harder. I’m loving this season!

Great episode!

And poor Butters is in such screwed up situations… it’s a wonder he’s such a sweet boy.

Oh, and I love the ending of Cartman showing the picture, then having the message from his mom that the picture was in his house all the time. I suspected it was, but leave it to Cartman to think that there is a conspiracy against him.

I have a question: If Cartman lost the picture, how could he have a slide of it to show at school? Did I miss something? Or is this just a minor plot hole?

He used a digital camera. The picture he lost was a printout. The picture was still on his camera or computer.

Best show in a while. We had to re-watch the last part of Cartman’s slide show 3 times we were laughing so hard.

Butters is so sweet–he is my favorite character right now.

FUCKING DVR cut the ending off! Mr. Mackey was reading the note from Cartman’s mom and I couldn’t wait to see his reaction and it ended.

Great episode, otherwise.

Awesome episode- Cartman in tears, explaining to his Mom how the picture came about was gold (I tripped and fell on his penis, then I thought of something funny…). Mr Mackey rushing in to tell Cartman his Mom found the picture, also gold. The “no longer gay” counselor reminded me of one of the Hardly Boys. Who would have ever thought when South Park first came out it would one day be funnier than the Simpsons?

Reminded me of Butters catching his dad at Fisting Fireman 9 in a previous episode “I must have missed the first 8”

For a moment I was afraid the “ex-gay” counselor was gonna be Big Gay Al… But I think the counselor was even more flaming than Gay Al.

He is. In Butters’ Very Own Episode he visits a bath house where Butters sees him “wrestling other men, he lost a lot.”

I like this episode as well. South Park is at its best when it isn’t a hundred percent parody.

I missed the first few minutes of it. Can anyone explain how, exactly, Cartman got a picture of himself with Butters’s penis in his mouth?

Cartman had Butters over to his house to sleep overnight. While Butters was sleeping, Cartman stuck Butters’ penis in his mouth, believing people would think Butters was gay when they saw the picture. He didn’t take into consideration that he would be seen as being gay, as well.
