Hayes recently appeared in a dream sequence on That 70s Show.
The actors who play Hyde and Donna are both in the CoS.

I don’t know if it was intentional, a big bridge leading to the fruity little club works as another little dig, too.
The Bridge is a pretty central idea in Scientology. (So much so that their official publishing organ is Bridge Publications.)
Don’t forget the billion-year contracts they have to sign.
It bears Posting. List of Scientologists from wiki.
What disappoints me is that quite a few on the list are actors I really like.
Nancy Cartwright, voiceover artist, most famous as the voice of Bart Simpson
Isaac Hayes, musician, actor, and (formerly) voiceover artist (“Chef (South Park character)”)
Jason Lee, actor and professional skateboarder
Danny Masterson, actor
Bernadette Peters, actress and singer (source: Bergen Record 3/10/1985, may be an ex-member)
Giovanni Ribisi, actor
Ethan Suplee, actor
Edgar Winter, musician
Just wonder how all these people were taken in. Maybe the joke is really on us.
Nah.

Good grief! Does becoming famous make everyone insane? Is anyone in the CoS not famous? It’s all very creepy. I have a friend who is a movie/TV star and though he’s very well balanced and cool and would probably never fall for anything like this, it creeps me out that he could be somehow seduced by the Dark Side.
Come to think of it, he’s guest-starred on That 70’s Show before…eep!
Whew, he’s not there.
Probably a good idea, but depressing, to bookmark the list and keep checking as it gets longer. Gah.
Oh, for crying out- it’s bad enough when they get musicians and voiceover artists I like, now they’re taking cute redheads? This really burns my toast.
I’m talking about Donna, by the way.
That’s probably just because they want money. Lots and lots of money.
I was referring to this part of What Exit’s quote:
Cartman’s Mom is (still) a Dirty Slut was indeed a two-part episode.
I botched that a little bit…
Episode 113 - Cartman’s Mom is a Dirty Slut Original air date 2/25/98
Episode 202 - Cartman’s Mom’s Still A Dirty Slut Original Airdate: 4/22/98
I found this episode pretty funny, but I have to agree, the whole thing is pretty sad. And I thought it was just plain mean-spirited to have Chef die at the end, especially in such a hideous way – my daughter was almost in tears, saying “I don’t WANT Chef to be dead!” Which is why I was glad he was brought back to life as Darth Chef. Though I doubt we’ll ever see him again, at least we know Chef isn’t really dead.
see, this is why guys like boobs…they can fix/bestow brainwashing.
you women…you chestier ones know the deal.
see, my father, the great philosopher told me once (while watching the intro to baywatch): “son, if you’ve seen two, you’ve seen them all. but you want to see them all just to make sure.”
truer words have never been spoken…after that, i looked at him and just nodded, the words working their way deep into my essence.
it was then that i found my calling.
titties.
(in other words, are you REALLY surprised that titties did the trick? the ass floss is optional. you pays extra for that, you know)
brainwashing, unbrainwashing, rebrainwashing. I feel a strange affinity for this episode.
Wow.
To have such a philosopher for a Father.
I’m not trying to be arguementative, but wasn’t she distressed by “stick my balls up your butt” and various molestation references?
Perhaps chorpler 's Catholic?
Heh heh … she didn’t wander in and look at the TV until Chef was falling off the cliff.
And if she had, well, I’m sure she would have known that it wasn’t Chef’s fault, he was just brainwashed by his fruity little club!
That’s fucking awesome!
Reminds me of my dear old dad.
No malice here, just curious…
My guess (and hope) is that she’s in the 11-14 range?
/just happy you said “almost”
