South Park: is Matt Stone the Art Garfunkel of the team?

Recently I’ve noticed that Trey Parker seems to write all the South Park episodes, and it doesn’t seem that Matt Stone writes any? He is still listed in the credits as doing the voices though.

I thought South Park was a Lennon/McCartney joint venture between Parker and Stone. Is it more Simon/Garfunkel?

Anybody know anything about this?

Matt Stone seems quite intelligent from his interview in Bowling for Columbine. Maybe he’s just the PR guy, though.
