Soy Vay!

What do you get when you cross a nice Jewish boy with a nice Chinese girl? Soy Vay!

I’ve seen Soy Vay’s Veri Veri Teriyaki sauce in the stores (Trader Joe’s and Albertson’s), but I never tried it until last week. On fresh salmon. Man, oh, man, is it good! It has ginger, garlic, and sesame seeds in it.

Who else likes Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki sauce?

Johnny L.A. I am with you. I tried some Soy Vay as a marinade for spare ribs and they were out of this world great. I took the liberty of adding some orange marmalade to the glaze and oh my my.

Mmmmm…slice beef into 1/2 inch cubes, mix with tender inch long segments of green beans, massage with Soy Vay and a couple extra crushed cloves of garlic (well, we just love garlic, YMMV, of course) then toss in a hot wok for a real quick flash cook and yum, yum, yum…it’s what we had the other night over jasmine rice. The fastest and best meal I’ve cooked all month. Fifteen minutes, prep and clean up included.

You know, TJ’s Veat and the Asian Style vegetables cooked in a wok and over jasmine rice are awesome too. Case someone has a meat issue–Veat tastes better than chicken, really.

I’m a TJ whore! No, wait, that’s not what I mean…

:wally

A pirate walks into a bar with a huge parrot on his shoulder. The barman says, "Hey, where did you get that?

The parrot says, “Tortuga!”

Yeah, I’m going to miss TJ’s when I move away (whenever that happens  ). They have the greatest stuff.
