SpaceX successfully lands re-used Falcon 9 rocket

This launch was used to put a Bulgarian communications satellite into a geostationary transfer orbit. Here’s the video showing liftoff, staging, and landing the first stage on the drone ship. This same first stage rocket was previously used on an Iridium mission, after which it landed on the other drone ship in the Pacific.

This was the highest energy reentry for a Falcon 9 to date, consisting of a three-engine reentry burn and a “very hot” landing. Whether the booster will be able to be used a third time is unknown. But that would be pretty damn cool.
