I’m looking for a way to mount a pair of Paradigm ADP-350 Surround Speakers on my wall. They are fairly heavy (51 pounds each), and I may need to mount them slightly off the wall to angle them in or something. They’re going to be on the rear wall of a space that is deeper than it is wide.
All the mounting brackets I could find were only for much lighter speakers.
Thoughts?
thanks
Here is the search results page at Full Compass audio gear heaven, for speaker mounts. They have several models that will suit your needs, but they’re fairly expensive. Not that you can get them much cheaper anywhere else - mounting brackets that can hold 50 pounds each are not going to be cheap. Good luck!
Are you sure they’re 51 pounds each? Because that sounds really heavy for a mini-monitor. I might buy that it’s the shipping weight for the pair, though.
The Paradigm web site sez that the new version (ADP-370) is 36 pounds per pair.
If brackets are going to be problematic, is anything ruling out speaker stands?
Good question. Perhaps I’ll weight them and see. That does seem a bit heavy.
Speaker stands are pretty much out of the question due to room layout. If nothing else, I could perhaps get a bookshelf installed along that rear wall and just sit them on it.
