it’s a scam. here’s why - first, with very few exceptions, any email that asks you to send it to all your friends and family or (i love this one) ‘anyone you care about’ is a scam. second, i saw this a few months ago and it was refuted by a court clerk - points are assessed as soon as you send in your fine (i.e., plead guilty).

Chaim, the road trip is sort of, uh, postponed. My brother-in-law’s brother decided not to move! So instead of driving, I flew to Los Angeles and drove up to San Francisco and back to LA last week. I met up with a lot of old friends and had a fantastic time. A friend and I camped in Big Sur one night and I stayed at another friend’s mansion complete with Mercedes Convertible, huge inground pool and hot tub. Hopefully Erik will decide to move at some point and I’ll get to drive across the country later this year. Thanks for asking!
