I was watching the news this morning and an item came on about a woman who had a spider - complete with web and all - inside her ear canal. I let out a gut-wrenching scream and continued to watch [as you do]. It’s like an arachnaphobics worst nightmare!
I’m just going to convince myself it’s not actually true. I don’t care if there’s video (though thank gods it’s not available on that link!) of it, I’m going right into deep denial here.
I guess you guys don’t want to know that its fairly common (or not totally unheard of in the medical field) for cockroaches to crawl into the ear and get stuck.
I’m not to sure about that, lets say you have
a spider in your ear, you shove in a Q-tip
and feel a tickle (as it goes deeper into your
ear) then you hear the crunch of its exoskeleton
as you start to twist away -NOW WHAT- Now you
not only have a spider in your ear you have a DEAD
spider in your ear, charming no?
…and what if the spider decides to lay it’s eggs in there and a few weeks later you have hundreds of baby spiders swarming out of your ear and onto your face? Hmm?
