SPINOFF:How'd you all get so smart?

I agree with the concept that manny of us read & post to topics which interest us or are something we know well. Here’s a novel way to announce these interests…

On another board I read, a new poster introduced herself by listing the categories in her “dream Jeopardy board”. Everyone else quickly posted a list & I learned more about some of the people who’d been posting in the week or so that followed than I’d learned in 2 years of reading their “normal” posts. I’ll post dream Jeopardy categories here:

Glands (or any other medical topic)
Olympic Swimmers
Detroit Tiger history
Middle Earth

and for Final Jeopardy:
Songs by Harry Chapin

Sue from El Paso

Interesting idea. . . let’s see, my favorite Jeopardy board would have:

Sci-Fi Authors
Relativity (I’d clean this one up)
Southeast Asia
Cartoon Characters
The Taming of the Shrew

Why The Taming of the Shrew? I changed high schools three times and each time the drama department decided to put on The Taming of the Shrew. I got to where I could almost recite the whole bloody thing myself. . .

This is a great thread.

Football (the real American kind)
The Secret of Flight
Human Anatomy

The facts expressed here belong to everybody, the opinions to me. The distinction is
yours to draw…

The Golden Age of Science Fiction
The Sixties

World War I Aviation

Final Jeopardy:
Film Noir

New Age

Final: Spider-Man

Sure, the final category isnt a broad topic, but it would gaurantee me a correct answer!

I knew I’d seen this in a book but couldn’t remember which one

mine are:
The Bee Gees
The Simpsons
the works of Douglas Adams
the works of John Irving
This Old House

final: the Pet Shop Boys

I don’t know much, but what I do know, no one else does, hahaha – sweep!
