Spoil "The Negotiator" for me...

Started watching this movie last night but despite my admiration of Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Spacey simply could not slog through it and I don’t care to revisit the thing any time soon. However, I am still intrigued as to what was the final outcome of all this negotiating. So could someone answer:

Who killed SLJ’s partner in the park? Who was the one who was imbezzling $$ from the pension fund? And who else ended up getting killed?

I’ll be interested to know whether any of it meets up with my guesses as to the guilty parties.

Damn, I love this movie. Tight dialogue, and one of the best-cast movies ever. I’d really recommend giving it another try unspoiled. If not, though…

Sam Jackson’s friend who was killed turned out the be the informer as well. The police chief (Not the hostage one, the one commanding the negotiations) was the main bad guy who whacked the informer, and ends up unknowingly confessing over the police radio. Niebaum (The Internal Affairs guy) gets taken out by corrupt cops (all of whom get either caught or killed) who think he’s spilling his guts to Jackson. Oh, and Jackson didn’t actually kill the hostage cop. Only a ruse to be taken seriously.

Here you go. (let us know if that’s not enough info for ya).
