Spotting Star Trek actors in other programs

Stanley (“Cyrano Jones”) Adams (again) as Tybo (the CarrotMan) in, “Lost in Space: The Great Vegetable Rebellion.” [Some day, I’m a-gonna get really tanked and watch that epi. “Moisture! I need moisture!”]

Shatner was in a TVM of “Hound of the Baskervilles,” and had a run-in with some quicksand.

Yes, from 1972, just three years after ST:TOS wrapped. I saw the movie on TV when I was a kid, and his death scene really stayed with me. Just saw the movie again not long ago and it was pretty cheesy.

Magnum PI guest actress season one episode 6, Catherine Shirriff played Krug’s girlfriend in STIII:TSFS

I watched that scene again, I’m going with Shirley Booth. Unusual half and half costuming, though.

Shirley Booth? :dubious:

Shirley Boone. :dubious:

Are you stoned? :dubious:

Who isn’t?

Just saw the terrific Civil War drama Glory, and was surprised to spot so many ST alums in it:

Elizabeth Dennehy (“Lt Cdr Shelby”) as “The Drakette” in the ***Seinfeld ***episode “The Pilot, Pt 2.”

Alfred Ryder (“Dr Crater”) as a Fed in the film noir classic *T-Men *(1947).

Ken Lynch, the mining chief from Devil In The Dark, in the *77 Sunset Strip *episode, Publicity Brat. Also starring Virginia Christine of Folger’s Coffee comercials: “It’s the richest kind!”

My favorite line in this movie came when one of the hard-bitten Feds is reporting to his superior officer after tracking down a suspect:

“Have you ever spent ten nights in a Turkish bath looking for a man?” :dubious:

“…and do you like movies about gladiators?”

Yep, this flick was definitely years ahead of its time.

Just saw Quentin Tarantino’s 1997 crime thriller Jackie Brown, and Denise Crosby (Tasha Yar in TNG) and Sid Haig (one of the Lawgivers from TOS "Return of the Archons) both appear briefly in the same scene, as an LA public defender and a judge, respectively.

Crosby was also in one or two episodes of The Walking Dead - the leader of the cannibals at Terminus, IIRC.

Surely JB came out in 1995, no? :dubious: Michael Keaton even says as much when he and Jackie rendezvous in the parking ramp.

I just finished watching “Negative Reaction,” the episode of ***Columbo *** starring Dick van Dyke and featuring Antoinette “Sylvia” Bower and Michael “Dr Roger
Corby” Strong.

Bonus points: Vito “Major Bonacelli” Scotti (from Hogan’s Heroes) and Larry “Cpl Randolph Agarn” Storch (from F Troop).

Set in 1995, but released two years later: Jackie Brown - Wikipedia

And don’t call me Shirley.

Huh. I would swear I saw it on board an airliner in 1995, going back to the US for a visit. I remember thinking “Well, I’ll never forget the year I first saw this movie.”
