Where’s the Ayn Rand day care center?
THAT’S RIGHT! So where’s old Springfield? hmmmmmm? And where’s the lemon tree?!?!

It’s conveniently located at the corner of Oak Grove and Mt. Auburn streets.
The map I linked to is more up-to-date than the mirror in the OP. Among other things from the 2002-2003 season I noticed are the stores in Springfield’s gay community (Sconewall Bakery, Alternative Knivestyles, etc.) from the Emmy-award winning Three Gays of the Condo, and the Snowball II Cat Park from Old Yeller Belly (where Snowball briefly became a hero and the love of the family…until Santa’s Little Helper was caught with a can of beer on his nose and became the new Duff spokesperson).
On the current map (the one I linked to), the lemon tree is in the northernmost area of the map, on the boundary between Springfield and Shelbyville. (It isn’t shown, just marked. Old Springfield is five miles away, so it probably wouldn’t be on the map. And most of West Springfield isn’t on there, only marked. After all, it is more than three times the size of Texas.)
And for those of you wondering what the acronym is for the building underneath the Happy Sumo (IBofJDPCandNT Local 643), that’s Homer’s union: The International Brotherhood of Jazz Dancers, Pastry Chefs, and Nuclear Technicians.
Of course it isn’t there. You think they would give their secrets out to non-members? (Of course, the Stonecutters no longer exist. They were replaced with a club called the Mystical Society of No Homers. In the last few months of their existance, the Stonecutters’ focus shifted from a secret society that controls everything to a society where monkeys reenact the Civil War.)
Hmm, the Springsonian seems close enough to Evergreen Terrace that Lisa could walk or ride her bike.
And where is Area 51A?
Am I blind? Wheres the nuclear plant?
Spotted it, yeesh I am blind. And bored…
Hey, aren’t “Bell’s Burlesk” and “Maison Derriere” technically the same place? They’re portrayed on the map as two separate businesses, both in the neighborhood just north of the Waterfront.
I always thought so…and they misspelled “Burlesque”.
Area 51A is most certainly NOT north of Mount Carlmore and west of the Grand Chasm.
Ah, thanks!
Isn’t there supposed to be a large Walmart style store across from the Kwik-E-Mart that for some reason Marge hasn’t noticed yet?
