I wouldn’t call it a heat wave, but then it is only the first half of may.
90 is a heat wave for the UK, in my book. It’s only ever got to 100 on one day, ever, but we usually get at least a couple of days in the 90s in the summer.
But it’s a wet heat … 
Yeah, but wouldn’t 80[sup]o[/sup] C be pretty damn hot anywhere?
We are having very lovely weather here in the uk, its been 26 degrees where i am for the past couple of days…it means many hours spent sunbathing in the backgarden.
ive just come back from some time in africa where it peaked at 50degrees a couple of days in a row…now that WAS hot.
And i swam in the sea the other day, which is a first for in may in the uk for me.
wahoo. its nice to not grumble about rubbish weather like we normally do.
