I’ve got a ton of them, but I just had to share one of my faves. I went to Fort Tryon park in New York yesterday afternoon, and spotted a squirrel running around on the other side of a stone wall. I snapped off a couple of pics, which got his attention. He started running up the tree, stopping every so often so that I could take a picture. This one that I’ve linked to was one of the best poses - he sat there for nearly 10 seconds while I fired off shot after shot, and resumed picking new places to pose for me. Great stuff.

What a wonderful picture. And a well-fed appearing squirrel, too.
Yeah I imagine his well-fed…edness… and his friendliness are very closely linked
The squirrel looks so cheerful/hopeful. Like maybe you have food and it doesn’t want to miss it…
Great shot!

Hope you paid him, even if it were peanuts.
It’s uncanny how animals seem to know what a camera is. I’ve shot probably hundreds of critters in my career. You could hold up a toaster and they’d pay no mind, but a camera.

Great shot, by the way.
Glad everyone enjoyed it (And thanks to people who apparently have been rating my pic very generously
) I’ll be in Spain for a day tomorrow, so maybe I’ll run into some friendly Spanish fauna to take pics of.
