I was told that the home teams in some of the domed stadiums manipulate the loud speaker audio during the game by adding some noise at strategic times… I guess they hope to compensate for anemic fans!
The simple theory is in a football example is that more noise during the oppositions snap might help confuse the offense. Is this a far reaching example of home-field advantage???
Unlike tampering with the height of the pitchers mound or sloping the baseline where this tampering effects both teams equally. This noise rumor seems unfair and a tad far-fetched…
