Standing my printer on end (temporarily)

I’ve got an HP Designjet 120 printer, which is huge and weighs a ton; I can just barely lift it. I’m in the process of rearranging my house, and need to have the printer out of the way for a few days, optimally standing on end in a corner. Would this hurt the printer in any way, or cause the ink to escape (I can remove the cartridges, if necessary, but there’d still be ink in the ducts)?

I would pull the carts, just to be on the safe side. To minimize mechanical stress on the movement, find out which end of the carriage the printer parks the heads when it’s powered off and stand it on that end. It should be fine; they get a lot rougher treatment during shipping from the manufacturer as well as in the retail stores where they’re sold–you really don’t want to know what I’ve seen first hand, trust me.
