Pretty much guaranteed. That’s the way the spread works – the casinos set it at a level where they will get an equal amount of money bet on both teams.
I thought that was pretty pathetic.
To which part of my statement are you referring?
The LSU fans going crazy after the announced USC loss. LSU was losing at the time and then Florida marched right down after that and scored a TD.
BFD what the score was at the time. With the USC loss to Stanford, LSU still would have been higher in the polls than USC. That in itself was worth cheering.
The fact LSU played until the very last second of the game proves the worth of the ranking.
cry cry cry
Bwahahahahahaha!
But, I must remind you, LSU won.

There are stories by Cal fans all over the east bay of cheering Stanfurd’s win in a bar or restaurant only to be followed by shouts of “Go Bears!”
I think Stanfurd beating USC is the only way a Cal fan would cheer a Stanfurd win!
Go Bears!
It’s a tossup, for me – Stanfurd - USC is one of those “maybe a meteor will hit the stadium” games.
I liked the post-game interview with the Stanford QB.
Newsguy: “How does it feel to be part of what could be the biggest upset in college sports history?”
QB: “Is that a real question?”
