There was a great deal of debate about using half-black/half-white characters in this episode, BTW. Eventually they decided on a vertical division that was reversed to make the difference more dramatic (or less subtle, whichever you prefer).
When Lokai looks into a mirror, he sees himself patterned as Bele.
Garth was a shape-shifter, like Odo.

Let That Be Your Last Battlefield
Heavy-handed and slow-moving, although it didn’t seem so the first time I watched it.(To my younger self, it seemed like cutting edge drama).
The episode had a good concept but it was stretched very thin with endless running sequences to fill up the hour.
I don’t know who came up with the self-destruct password “Code zero-zero-zero-destruct-zero” but they could have used a more secure combination of numbers.
Hey, you’re going to be nervous, you need one that is easy to remember.
I have the same combination on my luggage.

That joke is used so much that I went back to make sure this wasn’t an old thread
Then my work here is done.

Watching the close-ups in the self-destruct sequence, I found myself wondering why adults in the 23rd century don’t have better teeth. Again: Ew!

Tell the truth: Wouldn’t you have loved to see Frank Gorshin in his pink tights come leaping out of the turbolift and cackling “Riddle me this, Captain Kirk…!”
Gorshin could play a pure psychopath like few others.

Only Gorshin could make Shatner seem subtle.
I kid of course, First season Shatner, TWOK, his first twilight zone episode…he does all kinds of subtle stuff.
Star Fleet needs a good dental plan.
