Is it possible to hide the damn armor? I want to wear it but I don’t want to see it. It’s ugly. I didn’t spend 20 minutes choosing my uniform just so I could look at ugly generic armor.
Odd that this is my only gripe with the game so far. Of course, I have been known to spend hours designing costumes in CoH so I suppose it’s not surprising.

I just installed and started playing STO yesterday, but this is one of my gripes about the game as well.

I stopped playing the game so I’m trying to remember. Go into your character screen, the one that shows your armor. Upper right corner, um…can’t remember what it is but it’s the one to the right of the head. Right click on it and it should bring up the option to hide it.
If that doesn’t work, lemme know. I’m trying to remember without actually looking at the game.

Hit “U” to pull up your characters’ equipment screen. Right-click on the armor, (the little icon where it says “BODY”) then left-click the “DISABLE VISUALS” option. Your armor is still active, but you no longer look like Gunther Hermann from the original Deus Ex.
