So, that company that has been doing porn parodies of various TV shows has done one of Star Trek: The Next Generation. TNG was my favorite show as a kid, thought it ended right around when I hit puberty so I never had any sexual fantasies about it. The trailer is on Youtube, it’s mostly work-safe but I’ll break the link just to be safe:

They seem to have put some effort into it. Picard is played by a professional Picard/Patrick Stewart impersonator who looks a lot like him. It looks like it has a better plot than the last two TNG films. It doesn’t seem to be much of a “parody”, though; it seems like a serious episode or film. I wonder how long they can get away with that.

Dana DeArmond, the actress who plays Ro Laren in the porn, talked about it on a recent episode of Chris Hardwick’s Nerdist podcast.

Has anyone seen any of these things? The 30 Rock one looks promising. Hustler has apparently done a live-action Simpsons porn parody. That’s just disturbing.

From what I’ve seen the acting and writing in the parody parts are very good, but the sex is very generic. If they fucked in character or omitted the fucking altogether, it would be much better.

The same is apparently true of the Batman one (presumably by the same people)…apparently there IS a sex-free version of that available. (Actually, I hear the Riddler’s sex scenes are better for that…apparently that actor really got into it.)

Very interesting idea for a plot for this one. Wish the actors looked more like the original ones, though (or at least Data).

A Sex and the City XXX parody? So they have a bunch of sex scenes interupted by really bad acting and a meaningless plotline? Are the just replaying orignal show?

How interesting. I agree, the Picard impersonator is pretty good. The rest of the cast… not so much.

I’ve seen a couple of them; the original Star Trek one and the X-Files one.

They do a pretty good job of making the characters look like the originals - it’s as good as you’d get in a SNL sketch. The scripts are fairly generic but not too awful - you can tell the writers have at least seen the show they’re parodying.

You run into the main “problem” you get with porn. People just stop and have sex for no apparent reason related to the plot or their characters. But the sex scenes are the reason for making these movies after all.

And Kimberly Kane, who played Scully, looks really good as a redhead.

That’s why the Jersey Shore porn parody is so good. Even though no one does any acting, they all stay in character during the sex scenes.

Kimberly Kane plays Dr. Crusher in the TNG movie. Dana said the producers agree with you, so they gave her another redhead role.

That Trek TNG parody looks like they put a lot of thought into it.

I bet the William and Kate Middleton spoof is already being made. With a Pippa look alike.

I saw a copy of the Entourage porn parody. What’s weird is that they cast another actress in Sasha Grey’s character.

It would have been so cool to have Grey playing the porn variation of her mainstream character.
