You’re right; that was certainly a factor. But Locarno also came off as a much bigger jerk than Paris, so even besides the name change, they were pretty different characters.

Plus Locarno had more hair. :smiley:

  1. Roykirk? (I think Jackson is the first name.) I know I read about this bit of cross-over-ness on the website that explains how almost every show ever broadcast is really the dream of the autistic kid on St Elsewhere. Knight Rider had (or mentioned) a character who had been mentioned (but had not appeared) in an episode of TOS. They included enough detail in KR to be sure that it was the same character, even if no one was meant to notice. Roykirk was the creator of Nomad, whom it mistook Kirk for.

I’ll answer my own question as, it probably only stood out in my mind:

The game program consumed ‘Fifty Megs! Christ on a crutch! That program just swallowed Saturn!’

I guess it registerd in my fledgling geek mind when I read it.
