Star Wars CCG...how does one play it? Primer anyone?

Okay, i am not a card player myself, but one of the young men that work for me is really into the Magic series, and has a good time with it.

He’s decided to branch out a bit, and is trying to give the Star Wars CCG by Decipher a try.

The only problem is that it plays differently from Magic, and he’s unable to figure it out. Apparently, the instructions didn’t offer a game walkthrough to go with the basic rules, and he’s very confused.

Has anyone else played it? are there any online guides to it? In plain English?

Help from any CCGers would be much appreciated.

I’m guessing you mean Young Jedi (there’s another Star Wars CCG by Decipher, but 1) it’s really old, and 2) it sucked). If you don’t, I’ve got nothin’.

Back when I played (maybe 6 years ago) there was a starter kit for sale with two decks and thorough instructions.
