I’d back your theory except for the last part. I bet Boyega is the “Han” of the team who provides the know-how and physical skills to complement her Force powers.
That’s even far worse than Jar Jar. And that’s saying something.
I dunno, I’m not sure how much spotlight he’ll have in the film, but I think Poe Dameron, the X-Wing pilot seems more the Han Solo type.

I might be mistaken but I thought I saw somewhere that the empire is still hunting down force users, or that Phasma’s elite storm troopers might be force users themselves.
Why decades after the death of Palpatine would the empire still give a rat’s behind about this force stuff? I imagine most people have Solo’s attitude in the fourth movie.
It’s not the Empire, it’s the First Order, which seems to have occult leanings. Think Raiders-style Nazis.
I would imagine most people would, but just a handful of Jedi can do a lot of damage. Also, you don’t want these pesky Jedi inspiring people to rise above their stations.

Considering his grumbling over his difficulties dealing with the necessary plot elements of Age of Ultron, I’m going to say no. He’s going to go off and make original things for the next few years at least.
Yeah, saw a recent interview with him where he said he didn’t want to do another Avengers movie because it sucked up all his time, and he couldn’t work on his personal projects. Figure a Star Wars movie is going to be just as big a time sink.
On the other hand, it’s Star Wars. That’s got to be reeeally hard to pass up.
And damn high-quality ones, at that.
