Oh, I know. But Star Wars is my first and still my greatest fandom, and the idea that I’m about to watch a SW film that might not disappoint me is almost inconceivable.
My professional movie critic friend gave it five stars and while he is a fan of sci fi, he’s not a Star Wars nerd. He was also very critical of the Star Trek reboot movies so I trust his review in this case.
one note about the previous post: (mentioned in the review which I glanced at)
I will miss the 20th Century Fox into
I assume we will see (and had better)

In a recent EW article, Abrams acknowledged his error in having his second Star Trek movie borrow too much from Wrath of Khan. I’m hoping he reigned it back a little on this, but I don’t really trust his judgement after Star Trek Into Darkness.
The makers of the 2nd Star Trek also acknowledged how lame it was that they lied about Benedict Cumberbatch being Khan even though the internet knew it. They lied, lied, and lied…then he was Khan anyway and it was stupid.
I hear you, it’s so hard to be careful. I’m reading a mundane article about racism and Star Wars, and how Boyega’s figure isn’t selling well. Then out of the blue, they mention
Really hope that was a joke, Hubzilla, because otherwise your dumbfuck typo just ruined a year of me avoiding spoilers for this movie less than twelve hours before I finally saw it.
I’m not a HUGE fan of the series. My friend went to go see it, and wont even talk to me about non-Star Wars related stuff. Basically refuses to communicate until I see it. I can tell he will never look at the original three movies the same way… so I’m actually a little stoked. I’ll try to see it tomorrow.
I don’t think so. The entire thread has been closed spoilers. This isn’t a “troll” kind of message board and it was extremely unlikely to be spoiled here.
