Star Wars geeks - is the Marvel comics series canon?
Yes. However, the movies are not.

I see no reason why the Star Wars characters ever had to encounter Galactus or the Watchers. Galactus seems to like hanging out in the Milky Way, and even if he was tooling around other galaxies, it’s quite possible he never got around to grazing on their galaxy, at least during the time frame of the Republic. The Watchers I can assume, usually did what they were supposed to, like watch, and not let themselves be seen.
The Living Tribunal is harder to explain, seems like he might have gotten involved during the imbalance in the Force, but then again, mystical energy imbalance was his department, not Force imbalance. Or, as Cliffy pointed out, in the Marvel universe it’s easy enough to just have another alternate cosmos where the physics of everything is similar, yet different enough there’s no Living Tribunal.
