He never said he was by his father’s house. He said he was next to it. and the reason he said this was a qualifier to the reason he didn’t need to run to his father’s house. so yes, there is friggin evidence to where Martin was. It also follows the fact that he lost sight of Zimmerman. He does not again see Zimmerman until 2 minutes later and he is now at the top of the T which is consistent with Zimmerman’s account. If he was always at the top of the T they would have seen each other.
Something that didnt occur to me right off the bat, was the possibility that tm could have become disoriented as to where his fathers place was. Apparently he had been staying there for the past week, and anyone can see by looking at the layout of the place that it is very redundant, typical of many of these type of living communities. All the rows of homes pretty much the same especially in the dark, even though it was still very early, it was dark out. Tm was in an environment that he wasnt completely familiar with, and on top of that he was really scared even by gzs description to the police, he was running to get AWAY from gz. Years back I had a friend who lived in a townhome community where the layout of the streets looked pretty similar and all the townhomes have the same cookie cutter design. But that community was nowhere as big as the one tm was killed in. Just looking at a map of it looks kind of like a big maze. Its very possible and I think plausible that tm was mistaken and thought he was closer to his dads place than he actually was.
Although apparently there are only three actual streets, but alot of the condos have that cookie cutter design.
So after several minutes, breaks and probably chats with his lawyer, GZ figures out that what he said was a big no-no.
I’m really not sure what to make of the idiotic “God’s plan” quote. I’m not ready to label GZ a heartless bastard despite that he seemed so unconcerned about TM’s death. But anyone who thinks a retraction like this has any probative meaning has simply gone beyond his depth. Even if you, Terr, claim that GZ is an imbecile who couldn’t deduce the need for such a retraction by himself, he was sitting right next to his lawyer.
really? He knows where the stores are, he knows where the cut-through is and where the mail box’s are. all he has to do is walk straight back from the mail boxes and turn right. It’s not logical that he was confused over such a short route with obvious visual ques to guide him.
As far as being scared, that’s not what the evidence shows. Scared people don’t approach someone they think is suspicious. Martin did it twice. The first time was described by Zimmerman as anything but scared. In fact it sounded aggressive. The 2nd he starts the verbal confrontation with Zimmerman. And he does this after telling Dee Dee that Zimmerman was close. Zimmerman is on a hard surface with a little flashlight out in the open. If Martin was scared he had the advantage of standing behind a privacy fence which each house had. It’s not logical that Martin would deliberately walk out in the open toward someone he can hear and see if he was in fear.

At least a rational person would now know why Zimmerman had puncture wounds on his face. After looking at Trayvon’s death photo, he was wearing shoes with pegs on the bottom. These shoes are different than the ones seen at the 7-11. Trayvon must have run home, replaced his shoes, and kicked Zimmerman in the face before mounting him. A dazed Zimmerman thought he was being hit with a brick. They should have tested those shoes for Zimmerman’s blood and DNA.
