I have a Camaro. I speed. Yet I’ve never been caught. Thus–I’m not a lawbreaker? Sweeeeeet.
And believe me…trust me…you do not want Trayvon’s character being brought into this. There’s a reason the prosecution fought so hard to keep it out of the trial. Well, a hell of a lot of reasons, actually.
I’ve heard a few people say this, but he doesn’t look any worse than millions of other teenagers. He was just extraordinarily unlucky in how he went about his petty rebellion.
Oh, you mean because his smoking weed would make gz look like an angel, right? I know tm smoked some weed, but I’m not sure that would help gzs background check any…that was a closet the defense did not want looked into. Somehow I suspect that the jury might frown more on a thirty year old man commiting domestic violence on his ex girlfriend, and that embarrassing incident where he assaulted a police officer..( I suppose you will minimize that by saying he was just playfully patting the officers back, just a friendly little shoulder rub by gz?
So then, you would think it safe to say this wasnt the first time gz chased some poor school kid walking home, and killed them, he just wasnt caught all those other times.
I’d tend to agree, although the references to codeine on his social media platforms would concern me. The weed–eh. It’s a controlled substance and illegal, but other than the fact that it could have adversely affected his judgment the night of his death, I don’t think is a huge deal. Lean, though, flat out kills people. I’m hoping that it was just bravado on his part, and that he didn’t, in fact, get involved in it.
But the text messages and photos/videos from his phone would be problematic for this case, since he said he was suspended for fighting, fought a bus driver (also mentioned on Twitter) and the back-and-forth text conversation about “not being through” with a guy he previously beat up. Again, whether or not any of that actually happened, as opposed to being bravado, isn’t really important. But it does add to the theory that he would have had the mindset to confront Zimmerman.
There was also the camera phone pic of a semi-automatic pistol. Were that my 17-year-old, I’d be disturbed about that.
Also the school report when the administration found the jewelry in Trayvon’s backpack, along with what they dubbed a “burglary tool.” Since Zimmerman stated that Martin looked like he was casing houses, that also wouldn’t look good.
And Tollhouse, since Zimmerman had a lawful concealed handgun license, that means he passed both state and federal background checks, had never been convicted (or pled guilty) to a felony, and if the laws in FL are like TX, hadn’t had a misdemeanor in the previous 5 years. That’s why a person with a CHL can go to a gun store and outright purchase a gun with no NICS background check and no waiting period. We’re already cleared.
rofl. You can spin these incidents anyway you wish but the jury didn’t hear about them and the jury didn’t hear about TM’s 10 day suspension from school.
You must have grasped enough straws by now to build a broom but I’m wondering if you have any questions or concerns about the actual trial? Any tips for the protestors outside the courthouse?
Clear yourself…it is not ‘cleared’ by a long stretch
I know, the domestic violence and restraining order, and assault and battery of police officer were just petty, overrated shit…
somehow with people like you who would sooner die than admit the truth about gz, somehow everytime gz harms someone, it wasnt his fault, …the girlfriend, the police officer, and now tm, it was all their fault, NOT gzs,…he probably just likes to give people shoulder rubs or arm wrestle and gets carried away, and he likes to play with guns but “forgets” he has them
Doorhinge, I know, my penchant for truth can be a real pain in the arse…I forgot to go along with your fantasy version that the domestic violence and battery of a police officer were just misunderstandings,… poor georgie
I am cleared. My fingerprints and personal information, just like George Zimmerman’s were sent to the state and the FBI when I applied for my concealed handgun license. Whether you like that or not, it does, in fact, pre-clear us from having to submit to NICS checks upon the purchase of a firearm. Showing the CHL is all we have to do, because the legwork of the background check has already been done.
Zimmerman ALSO took out a restraining order on his girlfriend–it was mutual. And both were eventually discharged. Otherwise, he couldn’t have obtained his CHL.
The charge against him for assault was dropped. Had it not been, he couldn’t have obtained his CHL.
With all due respect, whether you personally have a gun doesn’t have shit to do with what gz did to tm. He was not found innocent of the assault on a police officer. Gz was arrested and charged with “resisting officer with violence” and “battery of law enforcement officer” both third degree felonies. The charge was later reduced to resisting officer witn violence, and he was given the chance to enter an alcohol program in lieu of waiving the charge.
Not exactly the same as him being found innocent and the charges dismissed.
Also,…a former coworker of gzs told the New york daily news that gz had been fired from his job as a security officer for anger issues, and although he was cool sometimes, he was like Jekyll and Hyde and would just snap. The coworker stated that on one particular occasion, gz went off on a woman who had too much to drink, and he went nuts on her, picked her up and threw her.
Also the whole ex fiancee thing, she states he had aggression issues and the dv stuff
But some here will say he is just poor misunderstood georgie
George Zimmerman was never convicted (nor pled guilty to) a felony. If he had, he wouldn’t be able to own a firearm, let alone have a Concealed Handgun License.
And you or I could tell the New York Daily News that we were abducted by aliens and forced to interbreed with cows. Since it’s not under oath, it’s meaningless.
It’s curious that Zimmerman is a BIG FAT LYING LIAR, but, what, an ex-coworker and an ex-girlfriend are the bright, shining harbingers of truth?
I guess I’m going to need to subscribe to the Tollhouse theory of law and say that, since a bunch of people said a bunch of shit about Bill Clinton, and he was impeached, then that guy is a BIG FAT LYING LIAR and he’s obviously guilty or he wouldn’t have been impeached!
Or, ya know, I could admit it was a bunch of partisan bullshit. Just like this case.
Yes, let me continue to try to talk sense to someone who “sees loudly.”
