Why is it cool to stay out late? Why is it that the “cool” parties don’t start till after midnight? It’s obviously inconvenient for everyone to wait around all day and night for a party to start just around the time you get tired. My buddies and I have a bar night every week, but we go after work, and are home by ten. Why is this less cool than partying from 1 till 5 AM?
Is it all just a throw-back to being allowed to stay up late when you’re a kid?
