As suggested in the Steam Summer Sale thread, I figured I’d make this thread for anyone who wants to trade Steam cards.

I’d like to get some sets, but I’m not such a complete-ist that I want to befriend a bunch of non-Dopers on Steam. So if anyone wants to trade with me, I’m CapnPitt on Steam too.

So to kick things off, I’m one away from the 100 xp badge for the summer sale. I need the Bioshock Infinite card. I’ve got extras of Football Manager, Prison Architect, Reus, and Tomb Raider.

I have an extra of Bioshock Infinite, as well as of Football Manager 2013. I need anything except for those two or Chivalry. I’m DeLapin on Steam.

Johnny, I’ll give you my Football Manager. How does one go about doing that? (Never traded anything via Steam before.)

Have to head to bed and going to be out most of the day tomorrow, but the cards will be available for Johnny Bravo and CapnPitt if they still need them by the evening.

What are this things for other than getting a few cents of my next purchase? should i be saving them in case they go up in price later?

So, how do you actually trade cards with people? I see a “Sell” button, but no “Trade” button anywhere.

Go to your Steam friends list, right-click on the person and select “Invite to Trade”.
