I think I’m going to pick up Arma III

Everybody vote for Castlevania: Lord of Shadow for the next sale. I want that at $10 badly!

That’s a flash sale - you can go grab it right now for $10.18

:smack:

I thought I saw it up for a vote just a few minutes ago. Either a glitch by them or I messed up.

Bought. I don’t even care if it drops to $5 later; that’s a great deal.

How is Borderlands 2 for single player?

I found it quite tedious. There is only so much entertainment I can get out of clearing linear dungeons over and over just so I can get that rifle that does 2 pts. dmg. more than the one I have.

Again with the public service reminder: if anyone is planning to pick up the Double Fine pack, remember that there is one achievement in Costume Quest that can only be gotten by playing the game on Christmas Day.

I enjoyed it more than the multiplayer mode, and I’ve done both a lot. I recommend playing through the main game by yourself or with a close friend so you can take the time to appreciate the humor.

A lot of the time, playing multiplayer, people will talk over, or shoot over, or launch grenades or rockets over, or go Beserker over, or . . . look, you get the idea. The story and dialogue is over-the-top and very funny. Well worth hearing.

I enjoyed Borderlands 2 single player but it wasn’t anything I felt compelled to continue after finishing the main story. I know you can replay it for higher levels, more skills, etc but once was all I needed.

I’m not certain if I’m breaking some code here, but something I just ran into;

DayZ standalone is $29.99

but Arma II X is $9.99 - it contains everything you need for DayZ. The DayZ mod is a free download.

The Day Z standalone is a different game than the free DayZ mod. Different development path, different features, etc. They exist concurrently. I don’t know what the current stage of the various DayZ splinter mods are, as I stopped playing when the hacking got out of control, but since the standalone is a fresh start, it’s potentially better.

But it’s very clear about being an early development alpha and nowhere near a finished product at this point. I’m steering clear until I see how it develops.

I see I missed Brutal Legend at 90% off. Bummer, I guess. I’m interested in that one in spite of myself.

If a game is part of daily deals, is it possible that it’ll also be a flash sale? I’m seeing Arma 3 at 40% off but more would be better.

It may also be a flash sale, but it’ll be the same price.

Good thing! It’s already popped up to $14.99

ok, thanks. I was at work and didn’t want to spend to much time doing research.

I’ve never played, but at $10.00 how much can I complain?

Yes, I’ve tracked it for awhile. $14.99 was the cheapest ever at Steam or Amazon and $10 is ludicrous.

However, Nuuvem(???) has it a bit cheaper. Is that a legit site? I don’t want to risk buying a game that won’t install correctly. I’ve already bought it at Steam, but for the future, I’m curious.

I believe that’s because it’s in Brazilian dollars.

What the hell, this is back up to $29.99 now. It WAS on sale for $29.99 yesterday before the daily deal!
