Second night in a row I’ve been disconnected from steam after earning a new rank in MW2.

Is there a website where one can find out when steam plans on being down? Or a way of finding how long it’ll be down for?
Yeah, I love how it says scheduled maintenance but it wasn’t mentioned anywhere until after you get booted.
Huh…it was up for me earlier. I bought the new Elite Units of the East DLC for Empire this morning.

Scheduled maintenance was announced both on the news ticker and in a pop-up news window.
But that would require us to actually pay attention to that stuff. Using the internet has conditioned us not to. 
Joking aside. I think downtime announcements should have a popup all of their own, to make it obvious. Not hiding amongst a bunch of other news that nobody pays attention to.
