Since nobody has asked, I’d like to know what happened with the outage.
Just heard from TPTB to say that the board was back and that the front page would be back completely tomorrow.
No reason given but I have inquired. They may or may not tell us; certainly I could see if there was some security issue or technical reason they preferred to keep in-house, we may never know fully what went down. The important thing is that we’re back.
Apologies for the inconvenience. It did ruin my weekend and my Monday as well.

I don’t even try to keep up with reading this place anymore, and rarely post, but you’re right, it sure did hurt. Thought it was gone forever! I actually googled “SDMB outage” about a hundred times to see if people were talking about it elsewhere. :o

Yes. I’ll complain, too. I actually didn’t know what to do with myself so I actually… (gasps) went outside! By myself!

I went to two twitter addresses for SDMB and one was last used in 2009 and the other in 2015 I think. Does anyone here not tweet?
