You fire from the hip with unsupported opinions and when faced with well supported points contrary to your views you either ignore the cites, wriggle embarrassingly or just absent yourself until the argument dies down. It is close to trolling.
Stand up for yourself and debate in a grown-up fashion using supportive cites from the real world rather than just spouting your personal ideology.
You have acted in this way over multiple false contentions over the past few months, from British Nationality, European Laws, Constitutional Issues among many others.
I challenge you specifically to engage in debate over your contention that “Parliament is Supreme”, producing your own cites and addressing those contrary cites produced with rational and truthful arguments.
If you agree I will open a thread on the matter in Great Debates. If you don’t I am happy to debate it here under Pit rules. Your choice.
errm, except for those Acts they themselves passed that have been judged as saying EuropeanLaw is Supreme, of course. Bit of a paradox, there, IMO, but IANAUKL
What on Earth makes you think you’ve earned the right to be taken seriously as the judge of anybody else’s debating tactics? Your many hundreds of posts in the last year have not shown that you have any ability whatsoever to understand the facts underlying a debate, let alone engage with them in good faith. I for one can’t wait for the day you’re banned; my working assumption, and closely-held wish, is that this day will be sooner rather than later, and the stunning lack of self-awareness you displayed in starting this thread only makes me more sure that your behavior will not ever change.
(Steophan is a tendentious fascist, of course, but he’s not half as annoying and disruptive as you.)
So you are ignoring the corpus of legislation and legal cases that form the British constitution.
Anyone who has bothered to study British Constitutional law knows that although there is no single document to point to that is the constitution, there exists a British Constitution made up from historic documents, legislation and case law.

“Unlike many other nations, the UK has no single constitutional document. This is sometimes expressed by stating that it has an uncodified or “unwritten” constitution. Much of the British constitution is embodied in written documents, within statutes, court judgements, works of authority and treaties.”
Direct question to you:
Do you accept that there is a Corpus of legislation and case law which together may be seen as a British Constitution?
I can’t begin to express how tired I am of yours. But I’ll try. You’re an obsessive, prejudiced, and multimaniacal poster. You believe that you, and only you, possess the Truth. You do not debate, you preach. Any thread you appear in, especially the ones you start, is ruined by your inability to conceive that anyone else might have something worthwhile to say.
I find that hard to believe, given your inability to engage in debate in any of the other threads we’ve participated in.
As you’ve decided to make this a pit thread, I can finally respond to you at the intellectual level you deserve. You are a poopy head, and your posts are silly.
Which is exactly the way you respond to all debate, except using more gilded language- all personal belief and no cite.
I challenge you to debate this matter in Great Debates, both keeping to the rules and responding with real debate rather than just expressing an unsupported opinion.
