I thought the point was accountability and who should be.
Who should be rightly accountable for any type of litter? Companies that produce products that are then littered? Or individuals who litter the products? It could be cigarette butts, bottle caps, soda pop tabs, etc. It’s ultimately the responsibility of the individual to dispose of refuse properly. Whether it’s in a convenient situation to do so or not.
In Colorado, we have VERY strict laws about littering. And yes a cigarette butt is litter. $1000 (nope that’s not a typo $1000) fine. Drop your cigarette or fast food wrapper in my state and I very, very much hope you get hit with the $1000 fine.
We have very, very little litter in Colorado. I want to keep it that way.

On the website is a box with a URL to copy for a particular image, for embedding the picture. Using my tapatalk app the copied URL would paste, but the resulting link was not hot. Therefore the link wouldn’t work. Selecting the photo also did not bring up a usable link on my phone. So there you go. I had started a post, technology got in my way and I jerry rigged a so-so successful solution for to tell minor joke.
And FWIW, using “retarded” over this is not making me the one who looks stupid.

OK, four pages later and I think we’ve established that dropping a cigarette butt is in fact littering, most people find littering bad and I chose a less than successful way to link to a funny picture.
